Beginners' Bachata
This beautiful dance is a slightly calmer alternative to Salsa and our Beginners’ Bachata lessons are open to anyone.
Learn Bachata independently or use Bachata lessons as the perfect compliment to your Salsa lessons when you’re starting out, because Bachata allows you to master leading and following techniques at a steadier pace. You’ll also learn the basic forward back, side 2 side, half turn and return and changing places.
We teach the basics of Bachata by focusing on specific topics for short periods, so your lessons never become repetitive. This means that you can continue to enjoy attending Beginners’ Bachata lessons for as long as you want or need to and you’ll never be bored or stop learning.
We’ll advise you personally when you are ready to move into our Improvers’ Bachata class.
Each 4-week course costs just £20. Or find out about discounts available with Todo Credits.

Bachata
You might not recognise the name but you might well have watched and admired this amorous dance which is easily identified by a gentle hip movement on 4 and 8.
Bachata originates from the Dominican Republic and is close to both Wilson’s and Amanda’s hearts. Steeped in folklore, it is a romantic, sensual dance, with partners holding each other close and swaying to the music. Bachata has become an extremely popular style of Latin dance and you won’t find better teachers of pure, unadulterated Bachata.
In fact, Todo Latino is the only dance studio in the UK where you can learn the original, authentic version of Bachata, a unique dance, untainted or diluted by the influence of Salsa.
Wilson Castro and Amanda Hawley, two of the most accomplished Bachata performers and teachers in the UK today.
