Cha cha cha

Named for the syncopated shuffling of the dancers’ feet, the Cha cha cha is an energetic dance and has its origins in Cuba. 

In the UK, Cha cha cha is commonly taught on 1 but an authentic Cha cha cha is traditionally danced on 2.  At Todo Latino, we teach Cha cha cha, on both 1 and 2, in a workshop environment.

Often enjoyed by more mature dancers, you can learn Cha cha cha independently or as an accompaniment to your Salsa.  Combining Salsa and Cha cha cha classes will improve your footwork, positioning and the speed of your other dances and could help if you also decide you’d like to learn Boogalu.
