Rumba

Rumba originated in Havana, Cuba, has strong ties to Santarea and can be described as a courtship ritual in dance form.

You can learn Rumba independently or combine it with your Salsa classes.  The combination of Rumba and Salsa is great for spicing up your Salsa steps and increasing your dance range.

At Todo Latino we respect the cultural heritage of rumba and invite genuine Cuban “Rumberos”, recognised as the best rumba dancers in the world, teach the dance, in its original form, in a workshop environment.

Please be aware that there’s a lot of hip movement in Rumba so you’ll need to be supple for this class, otherwise Rumba is suitable for all abilities.  Ladies will need a full long skirt for every class and gentlemen should bring a neckerchief.
