Workshops
Each of these intensive but fun courses focuses on specific aspects of Salsa and Bachata, including spinning, musical interpretation and combining sequences, to help you to develop your style and stretch your ability, alongside dancers of a similar standard. Saturday 17th July 2010: Bachata Workshop - A late afternoon workshop for Beginners Bachata, Has your Bachata got rusty? Need to improve on your basic steps? or looking to move up to the next level of classes?? This Workshop is for you.
At this workshop you will be taught techniques to lead and follow more effectively, move around the floor freely and interpret the music acurately.
In addition to clarifying the basics, you will learn new moves you're unlikely to be taught at any other classes, gain an understanding of the different styles of Bachata. Develop your musicality as well as having an opportunity to get individual feed back and to request focusing on specific moves...
We will have a number of short comfort breaks during the day, workshop runs from 3pm - 7:30pm followed by a meal together before the Party starts in the evening. £20 for day, evening and meal
8:30pm Intermediate - Advanced Bachata Class.....
The Party Starts at 9:30pm and will go straight into freestyle dancing, welcoming all levels of ability and style, so if you are a true Dominican Bachatero or prefer fusion Bachata this event is for you.. There will be great Bachata tracks, both old and new and lots and lots of it......
We will be licensed for alcohol on this evening so please do not brng your own drinks. Tickets in advance £6 or £8 on the door.
Show at midnight from the Todo Latino Dance Co. Bachata Team... we're so proud of our students we have been working with a group of 20 in order to showcase them... All workshops are taught at Todo Latino Dance Studio, located near to the train station, bus station and tram line, We recommend you use public transport where possible, or park in the train station car park. Payment for workshops can be made in advance at a reduced rate, on the day or by Todo credits for our loyal students. Please email: events@todo-latino.co.uk to reserve your place. we always endeavour to achieve equal numbers of males / females therefore your reservation in advance is appreciated. Soft drinks and cake is available in the studio, please feel free to bring some food
Salsa Parties
Latin dance is made for parties and, at Todo Latino, we’re always looking for an excuse to host one.
Saturday 24th of July 2010: Take a moment to check out the link to this great new venue, very easy to find from Junction 24 of M1 or coming from Loughborough. The Venue is in between Hathern and Loughborough, it has masses of parking on site, a modern air conditioned wooden floored dance space, stylish area for relaxing as well as A MASSIVE OUTDOOR FULLY DECKED AREA.... During the Summer / British weather permitting we plan to make use of the indoor air conditioned area as well as the massive outdoor area for dancing the summer evening away.....

A couple of times a year, Amanda can’t resist the temptation to put together a great big “just because” party. And if it’s in the summer these extravaganzas become outdoor events
Salsa Holidays
For a real taste of Todo Latino, join us on an exclusive holiday to the Dominican Republic.
With Wilson Castro as your 24/7 guide to his beloved homeland, our holidays offer an authentic experience you won’t get with any other tour operator.
Travelling with a mixed group of up to 30 like-minded Salsa dancers, you’ll stay in the real Dominca Republic. Included in the price of your holiday, we take you on a minimum of four full-day excursions, from Humpback Whale watching on the East Coast to horse riding through the rainforest to the Ocean and into the centre of the island to canyon down the waterfalls. On our next trip Carnival will also be in full swing....
On the days when you’re not immersed in the other charms the Dominican Republic has to offer, you’ll have dance lessons with bona fide local Salsa and Bachata champions, followed by dancing until you drop to local live bands, everywhere from clubs to car washes.

We don’t organise these weekenders or Congress, but you’ll find that often the Todo Latino team is there and we can’t recommend them enough for the next best thing to one of our holidays.
