Beginners Bachata Footwork
Thursdays Solo Bachata Footwork 6 pm
A wonderful part of beautiful Bachata is the amazing footwork. Footwork in Bachata allows us to play with the musicality and syncopations within the music. Create signature combinations of moves, whilst building confidence and personality in your dance. No partner is required to learn Bachata footwork, learning these patterns will benefit your partnered dance and develop your style. With a focus on the structure of the music as well as stylistic posture and placement, you will look like a real Dominican Bachata Dancer in no time at all. Amanda Hawley teaches Dominican Bachata across the UK and is known for her patience and skill in delivering this beautiful dance to budding Bachata Dancers, and you are lucky to have weekly access to her lessons right here in Nottingham every week. In addition to Dancers in the East Midlands all our group lessons are now also available online through our booking system, so regardless of your location or holiday plans, you can access a recording of the lesson at a time that suits you.
As part of our Covid-19 response plan, we will be offering Solo lessons for people who want to dance alone, develop their confidence and style in preparation for a safer time, when we can open the dance floors again and we can enjoy social partnered dancing. As part of our continued commitment to keeping everyone safe we are running the "Solo" lessons as a fixed group for 4 weeks. Each Dancer will have a designated dance space of 2m x 2m.
